Hamilton County Heritage Days is a non-profit organization formed in January 2018. The HCHD Board of Directors is Justin Caraway, LeeAnn Lee and Rena Sliger. HCHD was created to attract outside communities to Hamilton County, Texas for the Labor Day Holiday Weekend, promote fellowship amongst local and outside citizenry, and stimulate the local economy. All net proceeds from the four day event will be placed right back into the community by providing funds to restore the local fairgrounds, promote future events throughout Hamilton County, and finally providing financial assistance to the local youth in their agriculture projects.

The four day event begins with Classic Rock Tribute Bands on Thursday, August 30, 2018 inside the Hamilton Fairgrounds Pavilion and concludes with headliner bands playing on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Throughout the weekend numerous events will take place on the same grounds, such as matched horse races, competitive goat roping, a two day open rodeo, jackpot stock show, local business and food vendors,  with live concerts ending each evening.

 

A large portion of the event will hinge on sponsorships and volunteers. Without the generosity this event will not be possible. All sponsor money donated is tax deductible as the Hamilton Heritage Foundation is a non-profit organization.
